When you place an order with Belly Bean Designs, your designer works one on one with you to make sure your design is just perfect before it is sent to print. 
 


Place your order:

1.  Browse through our galleries and select the design that you love the most.   You may choose 1 design to be proofed for.  If you would like to be proofed for more than 1 design, a non-refundable fee of $15 per additional design choice will be invoiced.  Fee/invoice must be paid prior to your placement on the proofing schedule.  This covers the additional time that your designer will be working on your proofs.
Example: Requesting proofs for 4 different designs (example: Asher, Alex, Horace and Weston )will result in a fee of $45 being invoiced. 

2.  Fill out your order form.  Please make sure all important information is on there (name; stats; party information; paper size; paper type).

3.  Once you have filled out our order form, upload your photos to Belly Bean Designs at our drop box.  You will have 5 business days to send in your photos.  If you send in your photos after 5 business days since the time you filled out an order form, you will need to resubmit an order form as all order forms are only held for 5 business days after they are received.

Order Processing

4.  Carolein will then check your photos and all of your information to make sure we have everything you need for your proof, and email you when you can expect your proof page link!  If you are using professional photos, or if there are problems with your order (missing information; not enough photos; photos too small), Carolein will get in contact with you as soon as possible to let you know what additional information is needed.  Please note that orders containing professional photos cannot be placed on to our proofing schedule until we have the photographers release "in hand".  Also, orders missing the same number of photos or missing any birth stat information will be delayed going on to our proofing schedule until we hear back from you.

5.  If all aspects of your order are together (order form filled out in entirety; photos at least 100-150kbs in size; same or greater number of photos then the design of your choice calls for; photographers release included) and are in by 4pm EST Monday thru Friday, you will be placed on that business days proofing schedule.  Orders with photos that are sent after 4pm EST Monday thru Friday will be deemed as being received the next business day.  Both order form and photos must be received by 4pm EST to be considered received on the same business day (for example: if your order form is time-stamped 3:50pm and your photos are time-stamped 4:05pm, you are automatically in line for the next day) .  From time to time, Customer Service may have to close early for the day.  The cutoff time for an early day will be posted on the main page of our website.


Proofing & Editing

6.  Jessica or Mary will edit all of your photos, removes blemishes, and changes them to black and white or sepia if you request. 

7.  Jessica or Mary will place and crop all of your photos just right for your design.  They modify the design colors so they compliment your photos perfectly.  They make new graphics, patterns and any special requests you may have!  They email you your proof page for you to see!  Click here for an example of our proof page.  If you do not receive your proof within the posted time on our main page, please check your Spam/Bulk mail box first to see if your email provider marked the designers email as Spam.

Jessica and Mary are both committed to making sure your announcement is just perfect, and provides three (3) rounds of edits and changes before your proof is sent to print.  They enjoy and welcome any changes as they understand just how important your announcement is to you. 

8.  View your proof and either request your changes or approve your proof and check out via our shopping cart!

Printing and shipping

9.  After you have paid for your order, it is sent to print, received in our office to make sure it looks just how you approved it, then packaged and shipped via USPS priority mail!  You should receive your prints in the mail within 7-10 days after you have paid for your order.  Would you like your photo card greetings sooner?  Upgrading to Express Shipping is an option, however, Express Shipping only effects the time of mailing between our Shipping Department and your hands; it does not include printing time (approximately 3 business days for printing).

NOTE:  While we encourage you to place your order online, from time-to-time we will process your order for you over-the-phone if you are having difficulty ordering.  However, should you choose to purchase Return Address Printing on your envelopes, we ask that you send an email to Orders@bellybeandesigns.com with the EXACT way you would like your return address to read PRIOR to calling your order in.  Fonts will be matched to your announcement unless you specify otherwise in your email.

10.  You receive your announcements and send them out to your friends and family, who we guarantee will be calling to tell you just how beautiful your new addition is!
